About the Conference

On Thursday 19th September 2019, CIVEA, the Civil Enforcement Association, will move to a new level of influence and profile as it opens a one-day conference and exhibition at Banking Hall, Cornhill, London.

Following the Ministry of Justice’s recent call for evidence, the conference will discuss the findings of this report. This will include: the treatment of debtors, the complaints processes and whether further regulation is needed as well as exploring the challenges of adjusting to new expectations and the responsibility on local authorities.

Speakers from National Government, Local Government, regulatory bodies and professional institutes will analyse and evaluate both the content and implication of any changes to the regulations.

Inevitably during the period between now and September the industry will be under the spotlight, with business partners in the public sector keen to establish how the changes will impact on their revenues and their relationships with the Association.

For anyone whose professional responsibilities include, or relate to, the collection of council tax, business rates or traffic management, this conference is a must, in order to understand the content, effects and broader implications of changes in the regulations.
